Executive Director

The Academy's Executive Director is R.L. "Ron" Ramsdell, PhD.; FACFEI; DABFE; CFC; LFMAAMA.

Dr. Ramsdell is a Fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute, a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners, a Certified Forensic Consultant and a Life Fellow of the MAAMA.

Dr. Ramsdell is also one of the few "non-attorney" members of the American Health Lawyers Association and a long time member of the American Academy of Pain Management. 

As President of the MedCorp Compliance Network and a recognized expert in medical practice compliance, billing and documentation, Dr. Ramsdell serves as an outside compliance and oversight officer to hundreds of practices and is frequently engaged by healthcare law attorneys to assess the compliance of their clients through a comprehensive review process with written report of his findings.

Dr. Ramsdell has authored hundreds of compliance opinions, written several books, has articles published in numerous reference websites, journals and lectures frequently to professional organizations.
